Laura passed away on August 31, 2011 peacefully at her home with her husband by her side. She was born on November 14, 1949 in Paterson, NJ to her parents Edwin and Evelyn Casadevall. As a young woman she served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. During her time in the service she earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. She later worked for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority as secretary and office manager for 25 years. In 2005 she and her husband moved to the Palm Coast area from Virginia.

Her favorite activities included tennis, horseback riding, water skiing, snow skiing, running, meeting with her book club, and gathering with friends.

Deceased 1/12/2018 Bonnie M. Arsenault, age 68 of East Greenwich, passed away in her sleep Friday at home with her devoted husband Ken by her side. Born in Chicago, IL., she was the daughter of the late Richard and the late Myra (Leskiw) Crossley. She graduated in 1967 from Wayne Valley High School, in New Jersey. Following high school she received her LPN degree in nursing in 1971 from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. She then went on to become a registered nurse and had a 42 year career in orthopedic nursing. Working in four major hospitals, and one urgent care walk-in clinic. Bonnie was a giver not a taker, a selfless, caring, compassionate, unconditional loving woman, always putting others before herself. She lived life to the fullest and really made a lasting impression on others who crossed her path in life. Her biggest passion was being out in nature in any season of the year, but especially fall. She especially loved, hiking, camping, and rooting for the Bruins, Patriots, and Red Sox. Bonnie had many other talents that many people got to enjoyed. She was a great baker and cook of cookies, breads, pancakes, and waffles, the neighborhood kids knew this well. Her other talents were sewing, needlepoints, and knitted winter hats. Many people received these as gifts throughout her life. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, and aunt to all. She truly has touched more lives than we will ever know, missed tremendously, and has made a difference in this world.

Deceased 4/12/2014 Douglas H. Fowler, 64, longtime resident of Nashua, died at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on April 12, 2014, surrounded by members of his loving and devoted family. Mr. Fowler was born on October 21, 1949, in Massachusetts. He was a son of Patricia (Smith) Fowler of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Donald H. Fowler. He ws the husband of Rosa (Gomes) Fowler, they shared over 12 years of marriage. Most recently, he had been working with tech support for Comcast. For many years, he was a regional manager for several service stations including Circle K and Shell. He is remembered as a gentleman who worked hard all his life. He also enjoyed reading. Mr. Fowler loved to challenge his mind with brain games and teasers such as Sudoku. He enjoyed music and dancing. Mr. Fowler was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having entered after graduating high school, had achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant during his enlistment. His Air Force career brought him all around the world and gave him many life experiences, including a chance to run with the bulls in Spain.
SERVICES: A Masonic Funeral Service in his honor will be conducted by the Officers and Members of Ancient York Lodge #89, Nashua at the Masonic Temple, 200 A Main St. (elevator entrance) Nashua on Thursday evening, April 17, 2014 at 6:30 PM. His interment prayers and burial service will be held at a later date in Barre, Vermont at the request of the family.

Deceased March 3, 2015 Ronda Ellin Roby, 65, passed away March 3, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Ronda was born June 5, 1949 in Hackensack N.J. to the late Richard Edward Roby and Thelma Irene Bogert Roby. Ronda was a member Madison Avenue Christian Reformed Church of Paterson, NJ. She graduated in 1967 from Wayne Valley High School in Wayne, New Jersey. She also graduated from the Berkely School of Business in New Jersey in 1969. Upon graduating she held executive assistant positions in Northern New Jersey area at Yardley's, Toshiba, and GAF Corporation. As a "Gift of Life" kidney recipient, Ronda always celebrated life and dedicated herself to her community. Ronda lived her faith and considered it a privilege to dedicate her life to meeting the needs of others. Following her transplant, she served as a volunteer helping others to deal with the realities of transplants. Ronda helped to successfully lobby for donor recognition on the NJ Driver license. Ronda co-founded the New Jersey chapter of the Transplant Recipients International Organization (TRIO). While working for New Jersey Public Health, in 1996, Ms. Roby produced, "Faces Behind the Ribbon", a video about the AIDS Epidemic and discrimination. Ronda was a key organizer of a "Motivational Day" for NY / NJ Athletics in Action. The event was hosted by the NY Giants, held at their training camp and attended by 300 young men with the goal to inspire these at-risk youth to make good life choices. Ronda also volunteered her fundraising services in NJ at The Good Shepherd Mission, a men's addition program and shelter in Paterson, New Jersey. As the Manager of Resource Services for STAR of Hope Ministries Ronda was commended for her hard work, integrity, passion and commitment to helping those in need. She was noted for her "pit bull" tenacity. Upon moving to North Carolina, Ronda found employment and the opportunity to serve as Cooperative Christian Ministry of Hickory, NC. Most recently, Classroom Connections, a local non-profit offering free resources to teachers benefited from her service, insight and encouragement. Surviving is her son, Otis Moore of Sandusky, Ohio; sister Robin Roby and her partner Nicole Valette of Sparta, NJ; niece Alyse James; great niece Makayla Conklin; sister, Randi Miner and husband, Arthur of Califon, N.J.; nephew, William Miner; brother, Robert Roby of New Orleans, LA and her fur babies, Sarah and Jonah. Sherger (nee Reed), age 71 of Riverdale and formerly of Lincoln Park, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on the morning of Thursday, June 3, 2021, after a brave and graceful battle with ALS. Kathleen was a dedicated teacher at Butler High School for twenty-seven years, retiring in 2012. Prior to teaching, she was a programmer for Texas Instruments and then went back to school to get her teaching certification. While at Butler, she taught mathematics and computer science and her summer breaks were often spent reading about and learning subject matter in preparation to teach new courses she designed for her students. She was very bright and a quick study, teaching herself coding languages such as Java and C++, as well as networking and video game design. She loved learning as much as she loved teaching.

She loved softball and was better at it than some of the neighborhood guys. After school, Ann married and raised 2 boys and a girl. Ann kept very close to her family, spending many weekends with her parents and brothers, playing card games or watching sports on TV. Ann Died April 4, 2004 in Tampa Fl. at a young age of 54. She is greatly missed by 3 brothers, 2 sons and a daughter, as well as 6 grandchildren.

Cremation with ashes spread in Packanack Lake Carol Susan Wilt, age 60, of Biloxi, MS, was called home to glory on Saturday, April 4, 2009, in Gulfport. She is survived by her close friend and love, Thaddeus Korzeniowski; sons, Charles and Douglas; mother, Zella; brother and sister, William and Barbara Wilt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends spread throughout the entire nation. Carol touched many lives, and our family takes comfort in knowing that Carolâ?s life, as well as her death, had purpose. Carol was born in Washington DC, March 8, 1949. She grew up in Packanack Lake and attended the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Biloxi, Mississippi. Carol was a devoted mother, sailor and musician and loved to sing in the choir. Memorial services will be held in Packanack, New Jersey later this month at the Packanack Community Church. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, Biloxi is in charge of local arrangements.
